I have the same situation this morning -- booted my PC, had a notification from AVG saying it was adding a safe browser feature (which I did not seem to have the option to refuse and STILL cannot figure out how to find and turn off, not cool guys). Downloading a PDF from the internet resulted in an AVG HTML file instead.
